Helen E. Young, age 99, entered into rest on June 28, 2012 in Manteca.  She was born on July 5, 1912 in Springfield, Illinois.  She was a resident of Manteca for 6 years and prior Springfield, Illinois for 93 years.  Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Darl Young, and two children, Mary Helen Olmsted and William Young.

She is survived by her children, Carole Delmanowski (Joseph) of Manteca, Nancy Klemm of Crystal Lake, IL, Susan Deweese (Richard) and Darl E. Young (Victoria) of Springfield, IL.  She was blessed with 24 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren.

Helen was cherished and appreciated by all who were fortunate enough to know her and will be greatly missed.

Services for Helen E. Young have been entrusted to PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2012, 9:00am to 10:30am followed by Rosary at 10:30am and a Prayer Service at 11:00am at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home.  Final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of choice.  An online guestbook is available at www.plfryandson.com  search obituaries for condolences and special messages to the family.
