Iva Lorene Costa, 91, entered into rest on September 13, 2016 in Modesto, California. She was born on February 3, 1925 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
  Iva leaves behind her loving children, Denise Nichelson of Modesto, Raymond Costa of Granite Bay, Kenneth Costa of Ripon, her grandchildren Katie Dixon of Sacramento, Lauren Schardin of Roseville, Kristen Costa of Tahoe City, and her siblings Penny Tancreto of Redding, Helen Whitmore of Ripon, George Taylor of Ripon, Susie Holly of  Ripon and Paul Taylor of Ripon. Iva was a loving mother who liked all people and loved to have fun. She regularly entertained at the Ripon Senior Center with her jokes and her piano playing. She attended the Heartland Community Church in Ripon and enjoyed singing in the choir. But above all else, she loved and tended to her family.
