James Lee Moorman passed away on June 25, 2016.  Jim was born July 2, 1932 in Maysville, Missouri and moved to Manteca, California when he was four years old.
   Jim was an avid fisherman and a friend to all.  His favorite time was spent with family and friends near and far. He never hesitated to strike up a conversation with a total stranger.
   He is survived by beloved wife of 63 years, Marjorie, daughters Jayme (Mike) Hoss, Tamara (Wes) Pollock, grandchildren Andrew and Jordan Hoss, Sean and Alexa Pollock.
   He is also survived by his loving sister, Mary Buck. 
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Alma Moorman, sister Betty Camandona, brothers; Russell and George Moorman.
   Our family would like to give a special thank you to niece Cathy Fatzer for her unending love and care.
A private celebration of life will be held.
