Janet Lee Lenzora, 79, entered peacefully into rest surrounded by her loving family on April 10, 2021 in Ripon, CA.  She was born in Stockton to the late Fain and Ora Thompson. In heaven, she joins her parents as well as her seven siblings.
Janet leaves behind the “love of her life” Jerry Lenzora of Ripon, her children, Katherine King and husband Manuel of Ripon and Michael Lenzora and wife Diane of Manteca. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kristin, Jennifer, Allison and five great-grandchildren, Noah, Devenn, Aiden, Brooklyn and Wyatt.
Janet called Manteca her home for many years while raising her family before becoming a Ripon resident for over 30 years. In her early years, Janet was a hairdresser in Manteca where many women were not only her customers but became lifelong friends. She would later become a fulltime homemaker to stay home with her children and do what she loved the most and that was being a homemaker. Being a mom and “Mimi” was her greatest accomplishments. She was involved in every aspect of her children’s lives and when her grandchildren arrived, that was complete bliss. She spoiled her grandchildren. She was the absolute definition of what a grandma should be.
Janet had a huge passion for golf, as she was a member of the Spring Creek Golf and Country Club in Ripon. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed all the beauty she put into it. Janet made many friends along the way. She was so very loved and her kindness and grace would be felt by everyone. She had a wonderful sense of humor that made her unforgettable. Janet loved the simple gifts of life, a bright sunny day and spending early mornings on the golf course. Always ending her day where she loved the most, “her home”.
Janet will be remembered as a loving wife, amazing mom and a wonderful grandmother (Mimi)
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Lenzora family. Due to Covid-19, all service times are private. Janet will be laid to rest at Park View Cemetery in Manteca.
