Jewell Schlichting McCracken Harrell, born June 14, 1925, passed away peacefully October 9, 2016 at the Brookdale facility in Manteca, CA.
   Jewell lived in California and Kansas from 1925 until 1935. She returned to Manteca, CA in 1935 and lived there until 1971. She was married to Russell McCracken in 1942 until his passing in 1969.
   Jewell moved to Modesto, CA in 1971 and lived there until 2004. She was married to Wallace Harrell in 1982 until his passing in 1995.  Jewell moved back to Manteca in 2004 and remained until her passing October 9, 2016.
   Jewell is survived by her son, Robert McCracken, daughter-in-law Sylvia Payan McCracken; granddaughter Deanna McCracken Golding, grandson Robert McCracken Jr.; four great grandsons,
Tre McCracken, Gary Golding, Peyton Golding, and Anthony Golding.
Jewell enjoyed family, traveling and many clubs over the years, including Easter Star, Native Daughters of the Golden West, and Daughters of the Nile Menzaleh Temple #16 of Sacramento, CA and the A.R.E. of Virginia Beach, VA.
