Jiles Bernard Adkins, 90, entered into rest March 11, 2021 in Manteca. He was born In Charleston, West Virginia , April 3, 1930 to the late Daner and Lula Adkins. In heaven he joins his wife Martha “Marty” Adkins and son Michael Adkins.
Jiles is survived by his children, Gary Steven Adkins of Manteca and Cathy Bingham and husband Larry of Manteca.
He made home in Manteca for over 50 years. Originally from West Virginia, Jiles traveled west to make a better future for his family. He worked for Libby Owens Ford and retired after 35 years. He leaves his three children, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be forever missed.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Adkins family. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 .m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A graveside service will be held at East Union Cemetery at 12 p.m.
