In loving remembrance of John E. Bruns
John passed quietly in his sleep the morning of January 21, 2021 at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was 76.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Millie, and their two daughters, as well as his sister Barbara and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. John grew up in the Manteca area, where he attended Manteca High School, and was a member of the graduating Class of 1962.
John was an avid explorer. He climbed every mountain and crossed every stream. He was a kind, caring and gentle man who did not hesitate to offer a helping hand. He is being remembered for his love of family, his welcoming smile, his sense of humor, his compassion, and his enduring desire to learn.
Due to current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, there will be no memorial service for John, and the interment will be private.
