Joyce Susan Risso (Reiser) passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023 at the age of 68. She was born in Redwood City, California to parents Eleanor and Edward Reiser.

Joyce was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt and she loved her family with all her heart. She was always cheerful even through her adversities. She loved games and was the family organizer of all things games. Her favorite pastimes included playing Bunco with several different groups, trips to the local casino with her gambling buddies and spending time with friends and family. The most important thing to remember about Joyce is that she was a woman of faith, which always showed in her genuine, kind demeanor. Joyce was someone you

could count on for anything you needed done. She was a member of St.  Anthony's for over 40 years. She volunteered as a Catechist for many years, and she was also a member of the

Confirmation Retreat Team, Harvest Festival Committee and YLI. Joyce will be truly missed by all who have known her.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Edward Reiser, as well as her brother, Richard Reiser. She is survived by her children, Nicholas Risso of Redwood City, Mario (Naomi) Risso

of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Dominic (Celina) Risso, also of Rio Rancho; mother and stepfather, Eleanor Reiser Braband and Ken Braband; siblings, Carol Schiavone, Dennis Reiser, Kenneth Reiser, John Reiser, Geri Van Gorkum, Julie Wetzel, Susan Bruni and James Reiser, as well as several brother and sister-in-laws; grandchildren, Maximo Risso, Magnus Risso, Marius Risso,

Rocco Risso and Charlotte Risso; as well as nine nieces, six nephews, four great-nieces and three great-nephews.
