Juan Gene Roybal K

 Juan “Gene” Roybal, 77, passed away on November 19, 2017 in Manteca, California. He was born in Espanola, New Mexico to Fred and Ramona Roybal.
   He retired from Golden Valley Industries with a long career in meat processing and is a veteran of the United States Army. 
   He is survived by his wife Eva Roybal, sons, Jim (Sheron) Roybal, David  (Linda) Roybal, Ray (Valerie) Sanchez, daughters, Connie (Dan) Wardlaw, Camille (Carlyle) Smith, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, brother Sam (Barbara) Roybal, sister Helen (Bob) Balderrama.
   He is proceeded in death by his parents, son Johnny Roybal, brothers Freddie Roybal, Bill Roybal and sisters Angie Manzanares, Liz Kovacevich.
   Gene had a love for life and the desire to help others. His greatest love was to spend time with family and friends, sharing food, dancing and song. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Chapel of the Palms, 303 California Street, in Stockton, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m.
   Funeral services will be held November 30, at
10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Mission, 305 E. French Camp Road, in French Camp. The gravesite services to follow at Park View Cemetery, in French Camp.
