 Laura Rothlin, 88, entered into rest on March 30, 2022 in Stockton, Ca. She was born on November 13, 1933 in Lathrop, Ca to the late Frank and Etelvina Mendes. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, John, Frank and Alvin Mendes.

   Mrs. Rothlin is survived by her husband of 67 years Arnold, children, Butch Rothlin (Roseline), Elizabeth Laffranchini and Amy Rothlin, grandchildren, Theresa (Stan), Angela (Chris), Antoinette (Josh), and Courtney, great-grandchildren Madison, Natalie and Cheyenne.

   Laura worked for Wells Fargo as a teller in Stockton and Manteca branch many years ago. She and her husband owned and operated Woodport Dairy on Airport way for over 60 years where she was the bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, San Joaquin Swiss Club, past 4-H leader, past queen and member of the MRPS and FESM Halls. She loved a great history documentary, movies, reading, solving word jumblers, and playing games on her IPad. She was a puzzle wiz and proudly displayed her many puzzles throughout her home. Laura loved living out on the dairy where she tended to her many cats, dogs and plants. Laura will be remembered for her deep faith, her quiet demeanor, and her unconditional love she had for her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a rosary/vigil at 6 p.m. Mass will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Historical Society, P.O. Box 907, Manteca, CA 95336.  She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon, CA.
