Lorelei Kathleen Aiello, age 83, entered into rest on March 10, 2026 in Manteca. She was born on October 1, 1942 in Los Angeles but made her home in Manteca for the last 60 years. She proudly worked for Manteca Unified School District for 33 years as the school's secretary for Nile Garden, Lathrop and Brock Elliott.
Lorelei's life was centered around her family. Lorelei will be greatly missed by her daughters Danette Powell (Mike) and Debbie Vanni (Greg); four grandchildren Jamie Steele, Michael Steele (Coleen), Nicole Thomas (Jason) and Stephanie Piccirilli (Michael) and David Powell; eight great-grandchildren Lea and Landon Steele, Danniella Steele, Katelynn Miculinich (Rigo), Cameryn and Ellie Thomas and Max and Luca Piccirilli, and 1 great-great grandchild Abbygaile Duran and sisters Dixie Layne, Derinda Messenger, Kathryn Payne, Sandy Turnidge and brothers Daniel (Buddy) Layne, Mike and Pat Coffey and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Danny Aiello of 63 years, her mother, Elaine Dausch, father Harding Coffey and step-dad Daniel Layne.
Lorelei looked forward to family gatherings, travelling the world, casino trips, luncheons with friends and monthly Mexican Train. Lorelei loved any chance to go to her favorite casino, Jackson Rancheria, to sit and play at her winning QuickHit slot machine.
She will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery with her husband.
