Manoah Robison, age 84, passed away on May 5, 2023, at his home in Ripon, California.

   He was born one of sixteen children to the late Joseph Pierce and Leatha Girtrude Robison on June 23, 1938, in Itawamba County, Mississippi. Linda Robison, his wife of 62 years, survives him. His brothers, Nolan Robison and Joseph Robison, and sister Alice Parker

survive him, as well as his son Randall Robison, wife Susan, and daughter Rhonda Austin also survive him. Additionally, his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive

him.

   Manoah earned an associate degree from Allan Hancock College and a bachelor's degree with honors in criminal justice from San Jose State University. He served in the Air Force for a little over four years and 23 years as a police officer for the San Jose Police Department, where he rose to the rank of lieutenant. During this time, he graduated from the FBI National Academy. Manoah grew up in poverty, yet he rose above his circumstances to model responsibility by raising and providing for his family in ways he did not experience as a child. He displayed numerous acts of generosity to family and friends and was deeply committed to his grandchildren. Manoah was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed. He looked forward to being with God by trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation.

   Manoah's immediate family will hold a private funeral service and plan a public celebration of life service with a reception at 

11 a.m. on May 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Ripon. In place of flowers, please consider Donating to the San Jose Police Chaplaincy in Manoah's memory.
