Marjorie “Jo” D. Dengerink, age 71, entered into rest on August 7, 2013 in Manteca.  She was born on December 20, 1941 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She moved to Manteca in 1975 from Ripon.  Jo is preceded in death by her husband, the late Larry Dengerink, they were married for 29 years.
   Jo is survived by her children, Rae Lynn Lyon of Manteca, and Debbie Collins and her husband, Michael of Manteca.  She was blessed with four grandchildren, Josh Lyon, Justin Lyon, Nickolas Van Dykhuizen, and Becky Collins.  Jo is also survived by her siblings, Lois Ries of Manteca, George Locke and his wife, Janet of Manteca and Roscoe Locke and his wife, Rita of Manteca.
   Jo was a true homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening in her yard.  She was an avid sports fan of the Oakland A’s, the Sacramento Kings, the St. Louis Rams, and Nascar.  Most of all she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.  She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
   Services for Marjorie D. Dengerink have been entrusted to PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:00am at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest at Ripon Cemetery, 320 N.
