Mary A. Cotta went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2012. She was born to Joe & Alexandrina Costa September 27, 1921 in Gustine, CA. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Tony Cotta and her brothers Joe Costa, Johnnie Costa and Joaquin Costa.

Mary is survived by her sisters Alice Simas of Manteca, CA, Lucy Santos, of Manteca, and her brother Alex Costa of Ripon, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cotta grew up in Ripon and then moved to Manteca. She has resided in Manteca for over 70 years. Mary worked in the champagne department for Franzia winery for 25 years. Along with her husband Mary operated Cotta trucking. Mary enjoyed outdoor projects and going on walks. She will be remembered for the love that she had for life and her joyous laughter.

P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Services of Manteca has been entrusted with Mrs. Cotta's funeral arrangements. A viewing will be held May 29, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ripon located at 19399 E. Highway 120, starting at 9:30 a.m. A Rosary and Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's. Burial will follow at St John's Catholic Cemetery, 17871 Carrolton Road, Escalon, CA (behind St. Patrick's Church). Donations may be made in Mary's name to St. Vincent De Paul Society of Manteca, 525 E. North Street, Manteca, CA 95337.
