Mitchell Parker obit
Mitchell Wayne Parker, 73, entered into rest on May 25, 2019 in Lathrop, CA. He was born in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Theodore and Elsie Parker.  In heaven he joins his son Jack Wayne Parker.
   Mitchell is survived by his son Shawn Jason Parker and daughter-in-law True of San Jose, CA, grandson Evan Mitchell Parker, and siblings Joyce Gabbard, Dale Parker, Renae Prince, James Parker, Patricia Darter, Barbara Johnson, Carolyn Langway, Thomas Parker, Teddy Parker, and Charles Parker.
   Mitchell was a resident of Arkansas. He served his country proudly through the United States Navy. He owned and operated his own businesses for many years including a pool repair company in California, and a hauling company in Arkansas. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and fishing, or simply working on home improvement projects on his properties. He was an avid collector of antiques, from metal horses, to clocks and guns. He had a passion for restoring antique tube radios, as he would meticulously repair them with great care.
   He was a gentle soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mitchell will be deeply missed by all.
   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Parker family. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA. He will be laid to rest in his home state of Arkansas.
