Nolan Gene Carnagie, 68, of Stockton, passed away Sunday, November 8. He was born on April 16, 1941, in Lamar, MO. He retired from Holt Bros as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic after working for 20 years. Nolan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the
Operating Engineers Local 3. Mr. Carnagie served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. Nolan was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking and spending time in his garage with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Gail L. Carnagie of Stockton; son, Scott & Laura Carnagie of American Fork, Utah; daughter, Laurie & Ryan Pachl of Strasberg, CO; daughter, Christine & Mike Fouts of Copperopolis; son, Kevin & Tracee Kennedy of Linden; brother, Marlin Carnagie of Lexington, OK; sister, June Mickelberry of Garden Grove, MO; sister, Ruth & Charles Buchanan of Witchita, KS; sister, WayNola Bourke of Walnut Grove, MO; and sister, Zela Hon of DesMoines, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, Ronee, Sydnee, Kelsee, and Shelbee Kennedy; Mike “J.R.”, and Austin Fouts; Russell and Mariah Carnagie; Alexander Pachl; Sara, Jakob, and Savannah Pachl; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Nolan was predeceased by his son Daniel Carnagie as well as seven brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held at Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, Friday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Manteca. Interment will be at Park View Cemetery immediately following the service.
