Nora Arnel passed away peacefully on November 24, 2016 at the age of 88, in Sacramento, CA. She was born in Washington, DC on May 31, 1928.
   She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd of 42 years. She was a resident of Manteca, CA, for many years, before having to move to Sacramento to be nearer family due to illness. She is survived by her sisters Nina Paredes of Washington, DC, and Edith and Manny Farran of Las Vegas, NV, her children and their spouses: son, Dana and Beverly Farran of South Bend, IN, daughter, Lorna Jean and Clarence Thompson of Sacramento, CA, son, Ricky and Marshelle Lazaro of Elk Grove, CA, as well her grandchildren; Chante Thompson, Ebony Nunley, Tiffany Lazaro, Ginille Brown, Ricky Lazaro Jr; great- grandchildren: Amari Jenkins, Kashmire and Kashius Nunley, Eli Brown; and host of numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Nora enjoyed gardening, traveling, and crafting.

   Friends are invited to attend services at Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, 95336 on Saturday, December 10th at 10:00 a.m., burial to follow at Park View Cemetery, at 11:00 am.
