Beloved mother, grandmother, and great–grandmother passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in Antioch, California, at the age of 90. Born on January 22, 1935, in Stockton, California, Ramona was the only child of George and Clementina Eichoff. She grew up in Manteca and attended Manteca High. After graduating in 1952, she began her career as a bank teller and retired from Bank of America in Manteca. She continued working in banking after her retirement into her 60s. Ramona loved boating and fishing with her husband, Julio, as well as crafting, painting, and spending time outdoors. She attended St. Anthony's Church and also enjoyed casino trips and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Curt Maddex (Kathy); granddaughter, Stephanie Sullivan (Randy); and great–granddaughters, McKenzie, Ashlynn, and Rylee; as well as her daughter, Karen Rudd (Mike), and granddaughters, Kourtney Lyons (Chris) and Kelsey Hogan (Glenn). Though she had no siblings, Ramona's home was always filled with the laughter and affection of her extended family and friends. Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Julio Strazi, and her parents, George and Clementina Eichoff.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 5th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chez Shari, 305 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA 95377. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and remember how she touched the lives of those around her.
