We are sad to announce Rick Joseph Vargas, age 68, passed on October 23, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1953 to his parents Joaquin and Mary Vargas who have also passed. Rick is survived by his children son Jay Vargas and daughter Jessica Vargas, and his grandchildren Jay, Ellia, Kendall, and Carter. As well survived by his brothers Mark and Mike Vargas and their families.
Rick graduated from Amador High school in Pleasanton, CA. After graduation he joined the Army and served in the Vietnam war. He was a loving father, brother, son and friend. He enjoyed sports mainly golf, baseball and football, his teams were San Francisco Giants and the 49ers. He enjoyed playing golf and going to the game with kids. Rick loved being around his family and friends. He made his living as a water shed keeper and final career being a truck driver.

Service will be held November 5, 2021 where Rick was surrounded by his family and friends. He is loved and missed by many.
