Ronald Boyce Lewallen
November11, 1944- May 14, 2025
Ronald Boyce Lewallen obit

Born November 11,1944 on a National Holiday in Lemoore (Hanford, California). Rightfully so, this holiday boy celebrated his birthday every year with flags waving proudly.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Jack, Delton and Doug Lewallen. He has two sisters remaining, Freida Webb in Montana and Linda Erwin in Paris, Texas; and several wonderful nephews and nieces.

This wonderful man lived life to the fullest, always smiling, always full of wit, never met a stranger, and anxious to give a helping hand in any way to help someone out. This brought him great joy and purpose. He was the local UPS delivery man for 26 years here in the Manteca Area, the perfect job for him to chat with friends during his deliveries, enjoying each and every day.

He met his bride Nancy of 58 years in Santa Cruz, California, after being discharged from the US Army during the Vietnam War in 1966 on Valentine’s Day. He so valued his military service.  The greatest joy in life was having his twins Shawn and Kristina born in 1967. He raced up and down the halls of the hospital telling the world of this joy and continued until his passing on May 14, 2025 following a long battle of heart disease which was bravely fought.

His first true broken heart which remained until the end was the loss of his son Shawn in 1988. His daughter Kristina and husband Stewart Gesler brought the spark back into his life by giving him two beautiful granddaughters, Genessa and Gianna Gesler. How he loved to share with the world how special this family was to him. He was so very proud and always seemed to mention how blessed he was to have such a wonderful family.

Now dear man, fly up into the sky knowing you were so successful in everyway…a perfect man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Love you and miss you….your family and friends. Time to rest knowing a job well done and you mattered…never forgotten!

Until we meet again in the heavens above,  Goodbye PEPSI MAN!

Private burial with just family as requested by Ron, “simple and quiet.” God Bless and thank you for remembering this special man.

P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lewallen family. An online guestbook is available for condolences at www.plfryandson.com
