Ronald Morrow, 67, entered into rest on August 16, 2012 in Oakdale, California. He was born on April 27, 1945 in Missouri to the late Jessie and Lena Morrow. He joins his parents in heaven as well as his beloved children Ricky and Cheryl Morrow, his brother-in-law Gary Walker, father-in-law Alex Walker, and great-nephew Bryan DeHoog.
Mr. Morrow is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Janet Morrow. He was blessed with three grandchildren Kristin Williams, Robert Williams and Desiree Morrow and one great-grandchild Anthony Dixon. In addition he is survived by his three siblings Gloria Black, Patsy Holly, Lynda “Susie” Craytor and his mother-in-law Bessie Walker; as well as many other extended family members who loved him dearly.
Ronald was a resident of Oakdale for the past 12 years and previously of the Ripon, Manteca area for over 50 years. He retired after 27 years of services from South San Joaquin Irrigation District as an Operations Water Superintendent.
Ronald was a reserved loving man who enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening and Nascar. He felt truly blessed to have such a wonderful family, extended family and close friends. He loved his family and friends dearly, he especially loved his companion “Tucker” his black Lab. Ronald will be remembered as a loving, husband, father, and grandfather. He will be truly missed.
P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Morrow family. A memorial service will be held on Friday August 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd, Manteca, CA.
