Roxanna Leigh Fleming, 63, entered into eternal on June 10, 2016 in Manteca after her long valiant battle with A.L.S. She was born on April 10, 1953 in Oakland, California. .
   She leaves behind her adored family, her parents Thomas and Shirley Fleming, her son Harold William Hawks of Manteca and her daughter Leigh Ann Fleming of Manteca.  She was blessed with one grand baby Harold Liam Hawks. In addition she has three surviving siblings, Thomas William Fleming, Merriann Hause and Timothy Rea Fleming.
    Roxanna was a Manteca resident. She worked for BNSF Railroad for over 40 years. Before moving to the central valley Roxanna was a So Cal girl, attending Sierra High School in Whittier, California. She was always the life of the party. She made her presence be known and people were drawn to her vibrant and carefree spirit.  She lived life to the fullest. She made an event out of any occasion, giving full meaning to the expression “Go Big or Go Home”. While raising her children, Roxanna made them feel special, strong and protected. She lived simply for them. She enjoyed the outdoors, making the best memories out of any outing or camping trip. You can count on her to make the best of every situation. One of a kind is the best way to describe her essence. She lived hard, loved unconditionally and fought a valiant fight. She will be remembered as the strength of her family, the best mom, daughter and grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
   P.L. Fry was honored to have served Roxanna’s family.  Chapel services were held Monday, June 13, 2016.
