Ryon Joseph Mora, born September 20, 1986 in San Jose, California, was called to his eternal home on May 17, 2025, at Lake Almanor in Plumas County, California, after a boating accident. Ryon was the beloved son of Kerri and Rodney Mora.
Ryon, unknowingly, touched the lives of many people as he journeyed on this earth. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ryon is survived by his parents, who will never stop loving him, his brother Justin, his sister-in-law Lyndsay, his niece Rylee and his niece Jayme. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who loved Ryon dearly. Among them are Barbara and Richard Young, Sue and Tom Pinocci, Alan Mora, Bert Mora and Sharon Brassea and a host of cousins. He also precedes in death his little buddy, Banks, a blue nose pit bull.
Ryon held various jobs over the years including construction work, customer service, warehouse, painting and dispatching. Ryon also enjoyed music and played bass guitar in several bands. His most recent love was the sport of kayak bass fishing which is why Ryon was at Lake Almanor.
Those who knew Ryon will remember him for his smile, his faith in Jesus and his kindness and willingness to be there for his family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life for family and close friends.
