Sharon Lucero, 63, entered into rest Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Stockton. She was born April 15, 1949 in Peoria, IL. She is preceded in death by her two siblings, Vernon Scott and Marylou Giraldes.

She leaves behind the love of her life and best friend of 35 years, Anthony Lucero Sr. her children  Tony Lucero (Stacy), Mark Lucero (Lysa), Tara Clark (Don), Melissa Clark (Alonzo), and Shawna Lucero ( Kevin Berry). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition, Sharon has two surviving siblings, Russell Scott, and Darlene Woodard.

Sharon was a resident of Manteca, Stockton, and French Camp for 25 years. She retired after 23 years of service from the San Joaquin County Public Works Department in Stockton.  Sharon enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She and husband Anthony were inseparable. Together they attended car shows, visited Reno and loved spending time in San Francisco, and old Sacramento. She truly was a peace when walking on the beaches of Santa Cruz. Sharon’s grandchildren were the center of her life, her love for them was unconditional. Sharon’s smile always lit up the room, her positivity and her zest never went un-noticed. She was avid Elvis collector, always looking forward to adding to her immense collection of memorabilia. She loved her pets dearly, each one held a very special place in her heart. Sharon will be remembered for her optimistic attitude and her loving heart. She will truly be missed.
