Shirley Brocchini Deen was born on July 31, 1940  in Coalinga, California to the late Velma and Paul Vaughn. She passed away on June 3, 2023 in Modesto, California. 

   Shirley is survived by her husband of 

2 1/2 years Jesse Deen; her daughter Rhoda Haines of Ripon, her step-daughters Renee Brocchini of Fallon, NV and Annette Hammond of Fruita, Colorado. She was blessed with two grandsons; Donald Liggett of Ripon and Ronald Alcon of Stockton, CA and one great- granddaughter, 

Emma Liggett.

   Along with being a dedicated wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, she enjoyed selling and teaching real estate, owning and brokering Brocchini Real Estate in Manteca for over 20 years with her late husband, Al.

   She was also blessed with a talent for oil painting which she also delighted in sharing her talents with art students on into her retirement along with gardening and spending time at the seashore with her family.

   She is preceded in death by her husband Al Brocchini, daughter Jamie Brocchini, and siblings Joyce Hamilton, Norma Knott, Lee Wiseman, Cleo Clendening and Paul Vaughn.

   Shirley will be remembered and missed by all who knew her for her genuine love, beauty, grace and encouragement. A true rock.

   P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brocchini Deen family.  A viewing will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca and a Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at
