Suebell Hendrix, 100, entered into rest on October 29, 2010 in Manteca, California. She was born on December 12, 1909 in Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Rose Winters. She was a resident of Manteca for over 53 years. She joins her husband in heaven, Sidney Hendrix, as well as her two sons Nelson and James Hendrix.  

Suebell was an extremely devoted Christian woman who loved her family deeply. Her surviving sons are William Hendrix and Oscar Hendrix. She was blessed by 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hendrix’s services were handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Services were held at Mission Baptist Church, 126 Edison St. Manteca, on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. followed by her burial at East Union Cemetery.
