Suzanne Copeland, 74 years old, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 from complications of pneumonia, at a local Manteca hospital. “Sue” as she was lovingly called, was born November 7, 1942 in Oakland, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Dorothy Copeland of Piedmont, CA. She is survived by her brother Bill Copeland of Olympia, WA her niece Tauschia Copeland of Seattle, WA Tobin Copeland- Turner of Portland, OR and numerous cousins. Sue was a retired elementary and junior high school teacher of over 30 years having taught in Lake Tahoe, Manteca, and the California juvenile detention system.
