 Sylvia Jean Meyer, 83, peacefully passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2016 in Ripon. She was born on June 20,1933 in French Camp.
   Sylvia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, Bill Meyer, and her son-in-law, Dan Malley. She will be missed by her loving children Suzanne Malley and Bill Meyer (Jennifer), her grandchildren Josh Meyer (Sarah) and Lexi Meyer, and her sisters Eleanor Simons, Martha de Graaf, and Dorothy Gilbreth (Bill).
   Sylvia was a loving and caring woman. She loved to garden all types of flowers, especially roses. She has so many beautiful rose bushes growing outside her home. She worked at Bank of America in Manteca for 25 years and volunteered at the Manteca Historical Museum for 10 years. She became such an independent woman over the years. Sylvia will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, and will be sincerely missed.
   Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 South Palm Avenue in Ripon.
