Theodore Edgar Fidler, 83, entered into rest on May 6, 2023 in Modesto. He was born in Bakersfield on March 22, 1940. In heaven he joins his parents and extended family members.

   Ted leaves behind his adored wife Patricia Fidler of Manteca and his niece Jennifer Whitfield of Valley Springs. In addition, Ted leaves three grandnieces and nephews, Devary, Mack, Kash and three great grandnieces and nephews, Christopher, Liam and Adalaide.

   Ted was Modesto resident before making his home in Manteca. He attended Downey High School where he was a talented football player. After high school, Ted joined the military to serve our country proudly through the US Marines. He would then go on to work in the concrete construction industry and finally to owning and operating Ted Fidler Trucking. In his down time, he enjoyed watching his races at the 99 Stockton Speedway and Madera Speedway. Ted loved speed he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors. He and his wife Patricia traveled the US in their RV, where they made countless friends.   He looked forward to riding around in his golf cart and visiting all the neighbors. Teds personality was like no other, he was goofy, kind and always had your back. He had true heart of gold. He will be remembered as a loving husband, uncle and friend he will be deeply missed.

   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Filder family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 910 E. North Street, Manteca, Ca at 4:00  p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 910 E. North Street, Manteca, CA or the American Cancer Society, 1604 Ford Ave., Modesto, CA.
