Tommy Dean Roe

Tommy Dean Roe, 58, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 26, in French Camp. He was born on October 22, 1951 in Texas. Tommy joins his parents in heaven as well as one sister Sandy Roe.

Mr. Roe is survived by his wife Jean Roe of Manteca. His son is Scott Roe of Manteca; step-daughters are Lisa and Lucas Mendoza of Oakdale, Hope Merriam of Hickman and Charity Baker of Modesto. His grandchildren are Nathan, Kendra, Lucas Jr., Nikko, Zacharie, Michaela, and Shawn. In addition Tommy was survived by four sisters Vicky Leonardini, Pat and Mark Starkey of Porterville, Debbie Bourgeois of Potterville and Tammy Roe of Manteca.

Tommy was a resident of Manteca for over 42 years. He served his country proudly for seven years through the Air Force visiting nine different countries. He was employed by AAFES in French Camp for over 8 years. Tommy enjoyed a competitive game of Ping Pong and Pool. He loved going to the movies watching the latest flick following it with a nice dinner with his wife. Watching just about anything on TV was his way to wind down and relax. It brought great joy to Tommy’s heart to watch his grandchildren’s sporting events. Tommy will be remembered as a reserved man who loved his grandchildren, children, and wife unconditionally. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Roe’s services are being held by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, at 2 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road Manteca. An on-line guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com.
