 Veronica Fagan (Mendonca), a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, in Modesto, California. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts on June 19, 1931, Veronica was the eldest of 13 children. She was a resident of Manteca for almost 20 years after moving from Southern California. She lived at Cogir Senior Living for the past 13 years enjoying all their activities and friendships she made there.

Preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her beloved son, David Williams, and her beautiful daughter, Beverly Williams, Veronica is survived by her loving children, Joann Beattie, Kevin Williams, and Gary Williams, along with her daughters-in-law, Becky Williams and Annie Guichard. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren: James, Teresa, Melonie, Brian, Michael, Maddie, and Maisie. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren: Ronan, Beverly, Emily, Jack, Andrew, Mathew, Rossalyn, Asha, Avi, and Amaya, as well as her great-great-grandchildren: Marcus and Jonah.

As a dedicated homemaker, Veronica's life revolved around her family. She loved to sing and was a talented seamstress who found joy in sewing and crafting, always creating something special for her loved ones. Veronica always kept as busy as possible and loved to travel and enjoy family gatherings. Veronica was known for her warm smile, kind heart, sweet spirit, and her resilience. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Fagan family. A prayer service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at P.L .Fry and Son, 290 N.
