Viola Candini, 90, entered into rest on July 16, 2012 in Manteca, CA. In was born on July 28, 1921 in Sale Creek, TN. In heaven she joins her beloved husband Milo G. Candini, who she was married to for over 50 years.

Viola is survived by her step-children Jerry Candini (wife Myrita) and Charleen Lycans (husband Carl). She was blessed with five grandchildren Milo T. Candini (wife Suzanne), Chris Candini (wife Beckey) Tracy Candini (partner Hans Greenawalt) John Lycans and Linda Harvey (husband Dan). She adored her six great grandchildren Milo J. Candini (wife Nicole), Rachelle Souza (husband Chad), Meghann Candini, Cassandra Candini, Mike Lycans, and Amy Jones (husband Chris). She also has four great great grandchildren and one sister Joyce Fox.

Viola and her husband Milo owned and operated Milo’s Liquor for over 17 years on Main Street in Manteca. She was a devoted wife and always made sure that her husband was aware of her love for him; they were true sweethearts. Viola enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading. She was an exceptional seamstress, always mending and sewing for family and friends. Viola has made her home at the Commons in Manteca. She loved the staff and the residents at the Commons and felt as if they were her second family. Viola loved spending time with her children and her many grandchildren, she cherished her special times that she spent with each and every one of them. She will be remembered for her reserved spirit and her lovable personality. She will be missed.
