William Cecil Stanger, 89, entered into rest on January 22, 2021 in Manteca, CA. He was born to the late Vern and Isabel Stanger in Ogden, Utah on November 27, 1931. In heaven, he joins his parents as well as his daughter Vicky Lynn Yeida.     William leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years Sandra Stanger of Manteca, his children, Lori Kathleen Nelson (John) of San Diego, Jamie Lynn Dekle (David) of TX and Scott William Stanger (Colette) of Redding.  William was blessed with nine grandchildren, Tyler, Conner, Cole, Allison, Michelle, Evan, Cayton, Sydney and Madison, along with seven great- grandchildren.  In addition, he has two surviving siblings, Robert Stanger and Betty Felt.
William was a Manteca resident, but had lived most of his life in San Jose and Tracy. He served his country proudly through the United States Navy. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 36 years of service. William enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, fishing, camping, a good breakfast with his wife and spending time with family. He was an avid bowler for many years and bowled 3 perfect 300 games during that time.  He will be remembered as a loving and devout husband, wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Stanger family. At this time all services are private.
