William proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He went on to have a 30-year career at Sharpe Army Depot.  He was a part of the “Old Geezers” club and attended all local high school sporting events.  As a Godly man, he had a deep faith and received Jesus into his life in December 1981. He reinforced God’s word by sharing his wisdom and testimony in Prison and “street” ministries.  Billy was a creative man who loved to collect rocks from all over the world.  Brother Bill would make Christian based cards and hand them out to all he met, spreading the word of God.  William’s resiliency and fortitude of life inspired many to never give up. He will always be remembered as a simple, kind and very generous man who loved to share stories and “pay it forward.”
