A pipeline in 1976 was built across the San Rafael-Richmond Bridge in record time — in less than a month — from the Contra Costa Water Agency lines all the way into the entrance of Marin near San Quentin. It literally saved Marin County that went bone dry during the 1976-1977drought.
Gov. Gavin Newsom is either playing recall politics with California’s future or else it is a complete lack of understanding of how the state’s water system.
