Day 43

My legs are screaming! Sometimes I really dislike the fact that I have a two-story home because going up and down the stairs causes added pain and soreness! Tonight’s workout was all about the legs and the core. Why is it when Tommy demonstrates an exercise it looks so simple and effortless? I try to copy what he is doing but lord only knows what it must look like to others.

Day 44

I love working out my arms even though I am a weakling! I always think about wearing a summertime dress or a tank top when I am lifting weights, imagining what a toned biceps and triceps will look like.

Day 45

Tired! I am sleeping so much better at night, but bedtime is coming sooner and sooner.

Day 46

I didn’t work out last night because of an appointment. Tonight I didn’t workout because of a staff going-away party. If I were disciplined enough, I would get up in the morning to workout, but that is just not something that comes easily to me. I like my sleep.  Waking up for a 5 a.m. workout is just not something I already for yet.

Day 47

About the only positive thing I could say about this week is that my eating has been right on track. My workouts were minimal, but my eating has been right on target. I can tell that it has been a few days since working out though because I am feeling sluggish.

Day 48

Craving water. I just can’t get enough water.

Day 49

Volleyball day. That means up before daylight and traveling to Sacramento. As I was getting ready in the morning, I was already thinking about having a big salad for lunch. Thankfully, there was a Subway near where the team was playing. As my husband and I were sitting there eating I commented about how sad it was that I couldn’t even finish my salad because I was stuffed.  He replied, “Isn’t that a good thing?”  I guess so, but it just amazes me that I cannot even finish off a salad.
