SAN JOSE (AP) — Jonah Arenado hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning, leading the San Jose Giants to a 5-4 win over the Modesto Nuts on Sunday.

Dylan Rheault got Luis Liberato to fly out with a runner on third to end the game for his 10th save of the season.

The home run by Arenado capped a four-run inning and gave the Giants a 5-4 lead after Jalen Miller hit a solo home run earlier in the inning.

After San Jose scored one run in the second inning, Modesto went up 4-1 when Jordan Cowan drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Chris Mariscal in the fifth inning.

Connor Kaden (3-0) got the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Modesto starter Reggie McClain (8-6) took the loss in the California League game.

Mariscal tripled, doubled and singled, scoring two runs for the Nuts.
