Dazas single leads Lancaster over Modesto

MODESTO (AP) -- Yonathan Daza hit a two-run single in the fifth inning, leading the Lancaster JetHawks to a 9-5 win over the Modesto Nuts on Wednesday. The single by Daza started the scoring in a six-run inning and gave the JetHawks a 5-3 lead. Later in the inning, Roberto Ramos and Hamlet Marte hit two-run singles.
