Guerra hits walk-off homer in 11th, Ports lose

LAKE ELSINORE (AP) — Javier Guerra hit a walk-off three-run homer with one out in the 11th inning, as the Lake Elsinore Storm beat the Stockton Ports 7-5 on Wednesday.

The Ports took a 5-4 lead in the top of the 11th when Chris Iriart hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Mikey White.

Reliever Colby Blueberg (4-2) went two innings, allowing one run and one hit to get the win. He also struck out three and walked two. Andrew Tomasovich (0-1) allowed three runs and got one out in the California League game.

Michael Gettys homered and singled, scoring three runs in the win. Guerra homered and doubled, driving in five runs.

The Ports left some scoring opportunities on the table, stranding 16 baserunners in the loss. White tripled and singled for the Ports. Skye Bolt tripled and singled twice.
