The Lancers roll into the rivalry showdown riding a three-match winning streak and a four-game victory (25-23, 16-25, 25-19, 25-15) over visiting Gustine. They will play their third contest in as many nights.

East Union enters its first VOL match of the season with an 11-2-2 nonleague mark.
