Ripon Christian’s girls basketball team rolled to its seventh straight win Monday, crushing visiting Denair 71-28.
It has been a month since the Knights (4-0 Southern League, 10-3 overall) last lost a game, a 53-33 decision against Liberty of Brentwood on Dec. 14. They continued their dominant play in SL action Monday, sprinting out to a 22-2 first-quarter lead. Ripon Christian led 34-9 at halftime and closed the assault with a 23-point fourth quarter.
Teagan Manus did most of her damage in the first, when she poured in 16 of her game-high 21 points. Amber Hilvers, Pam Radach and Adri Van Groningen had eight points each.

Jessica Van Vliet’s double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) helped RC remain undefeated in the SL. Jessica Orozco chipped in nine points and nine steals.
Freshman
Ripon Christian 36, Sierra 27
Beth Weststeyn had her way in the post in this nonleague affair, amassing 16 points and 24 rebounds. Abby Buitrago added 10 points, five steals and four assists, as the Knights improved to 7-4 overall.
