CARMICHAEL — Ripon Christian took third place overall Saturday at the Victory Christian Tournament with a 61-44 win over Highlands.
Tyler Goslinga led the way with 24 points, and Arie De Dulk scored 15 more, including a trio of 3-pointers during a pivotal second-quarter stretch in which RC clawed back into it and took the lead for good.
David Vander Schaaf added nine for the Knights (6-4 overall).
“We were down 18-12 after one,” RC head coach Ron Vander Molen said. “But we outscored them 22-8 in the second quarter.
“Arie’s outside shooting gave us a boost, and our trapping defense caused a number of turnovers.
“We had a lot of good passing tonight, and we were able to break their press.”
Both Goslinga and Den Dulk were named to the All Tournament team.
RC hosts Linden Jan. 2.
