 Lathrop High claimed its second JAMZ Nationals cheer title in three years this past Saturday at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, this time achieving in a Level 2 medium-schools division.

The Spartans claimed the varsity non-tumbling crown with an impressive 96.37% score, which included zero deductions across two days of competition. They got the nod over fellow top-three placers Verdugo Hills (95.77) and Marquez (93.34).

Coached by Hope Palomar, the Lathrop squad includes Aaliyah Corral, Abigail Costello, Amilli Straley, Annalyece Branson, Aubrey Hoffman, Bilha Carreto, Cailee McBride, Faith Rowan, Hailee Lizarrage, Jasline Castillo, Kendall Grandison, Layla Alvarado, Mackenzie Collins, Maya Cross, Noemi Gonzalez, Serena Hernandez, Sophia Hoover and Trisha Boada.

Junior Kendall Grandison is the lone holdover from the 2024 national title team.
