Ripon ended its nonleague schedule strong, as it crushed visiting Tokay of Lodi 25-22, 25-14, 25-15 on Wednesday.

The Indians (10-4) begin Trans-Valley League play on Oct. 1 at Hilmar, the reigning champion and 2013 Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV runner-up.

Sam McCreath paced Ripon’s balanced offense with 12 kills. Breana Barrios and Jacqui Uecker contributed eight and seven kills, respectively, and both added two blocks each.

Setter Lauren Weibe amassed 30 assists. Emily O’Brien picked up 22 digs, and Shannon Wesley served six aces.

On Tuesday, the Knights (2-0 Southern League, 15-4 overall) dispatched host Waterford (1-1, 10-5), 25-18, 25-20, 25-14.

Setter Elisabeth Regusci collected 30 assists and two aces. Dani Erdelatz swatted 14 kills while Paige Vos added seven. Makenna Koslosky contributed 17 digs.
