FRISCO, Texas (AP) — San Jose’s Victor Bernardez headed in an own goal and Tesho Akindele scored on a penalty kick to help FC Dallas escape with a 2-2 draw against the Earthquakes on Saturday night. FC Dallas’ Fabian Castillo fired a goal-line cross from just outside the 6-yard box and Bernardez, trying to send the ball wide, headed in the equalizing own goal in the 62nd minute. Alberto Quintero hammered a cross from Quincy Amarikwa into the net to give the Earthquakes (2-1-2) up 1-0 in the opening minutes.
