STOCKTON (AP) -- Sean Murphy hit a two-run double in the sixth inning, leading the Stockton Ports to a 3-2 win over the Lancaster JetHawks on Wednesday.

The double by Murphy capped a three-run inning and gave the Ports a 3-2 lead after Seth Brown hit an RBI single earlier in the inning.

Lancaster went up by two after Brian Mundell hit an RBI single in the first inning and Brendan Rodgers hit a solo home run in the sixth.

Will Gilbert (1-1) got the win with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Lancaster starter Peter Lambert (3-5) took the loss in the California League game. Nolan Blackwood retired the side in order for his fifth save of the season.

For the JetHawks, Rodgers homered and singled.

Despite the loss, Lancaster is 6-3 against Stockton this season.
