It’s a super fundraising on Super Bowl Sunday that benefits the Manteca Mural Society and Manteca Rotary.

The fourth annual Super Bowl Sunday Omelet & Pancake Breakfast takes place on Feb. 7 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane. Tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at the door.

The target is to crack enough eggs to make 1,000 omelets to order. Last year there were 875 omelet breakfasts served. Jeff Liotard is the head omelet chef while Joe Waltman is the head pancake chef.

The breakfast includes a made-to-order omelet, pancakes, croissant, fruit cup, orange juice, and Jesus Mountain Coffee.

The senior center is decorated in a Super Bowl motif. There are also “quarterly” raffle drawings.

Tickets are available at local merchants displaying a Super Bowl Omelet Breakfast sign such as Tipton’s or J&J Printing, the Manteca Historical Society

or by calling Tom Wilson at 988-1971, Leon Sucht at 239-0288 or the Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau at 823-7229.
