Manteca is getting another restaurant.

Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is expected to open in the Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley anchored by Bass Pro Shops by September.

The restaurant offers pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, sandwiches, soups and wraps as well as beer and cocktails. There are 10 existing locations that are all in the greater Sacramento area except for one location in Chico. The closest Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse to Manteca is located on Elk Grove Boulevard in Elk Grove.

A Poag & McEwen representative indicated there are several other retailers ready to locate in Orchard Valley. An announcement is expected in the next 30 days.

Three additional restaurants are expected to open this year in Manteca. One is an American-style diner in the Spreckels Park development that is locating in a building directly behind  Jack-in-the-Box.

The others are Manteca’s third Taco Bell that will be built next to the McDonald’s on Daniels Street and Airport Way. The other is a Panera Bread moving toward groundbreaking on East Yosemite Avenue next to the former McDonald’s.
