Tuesday’s Manteca City Council meeting was adjourned in memory of Victor Gully who passed away June 25 at the age of 79.

Gully along with his wife Maria were lauded by the council for their years of community service.

Gully was extremely active in the San Joaquin County Sheriff STARS program, the Manteca Historical Society, and a number of other concerns ranging from Habitat for Humanity to the Italian Catholic Federation.
