Braata, Faade bands performing Friday in Plea for Peace concert

Braata, a Manteca reggae rock band, and Facade, a progressive rock band, will be sharing their original music at the Plea for Peace Center in Stockton this Friday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m.

Braata has been together for just over a year and has just finished their first CD which will be available at this concert. Their reggae rock sound has become very popular with many age groups both in the Manteca area and the Bay Area where they took 2nd place at the Hayward battle of the bands, took 1st place at the Pleasanton Battle of the bands and just this last month took 1st place at the Slim’s San Francisco Battle of the bands. Facade, with their unique progressive rock music, has been working on their first CD which will be available in 2010. They have been a big hit at several venues including Summer Concert at Modesto Centre Plaza, Barking Dog and several private parties. This band is sure to make a big impression on the audience.
